About sirefs
sirefs is built by Uneven Bits ApS, a small software company in Copenhagen. We use it on our own products first, and we built it because we needed it.
Why did we build sirefs?
Our own products were missing from AI answers, and we couldn't see it. A one-off study of one of them found it cited in Google's AI Overviews for 0 of the 16 queries we tested. The fix turned out to be known: answer pages in the format the engines quote. What was missing was a way to measure it every week, on every engine, honestly. sirefs is that tool.
Who uses sirefs?
We do, first. sirefs tracks our own products, including Asktopus (an AI chatbot for websites), CompanyData.dk and UdbudsScanner, before it tracks anyone else's. Every number in the product has been checked against brands we know inside out.
What do we believe about measuring AI visibility?
- Measure what people see: the consumer apps, logged out, not a developer API dressed up as the app.
- Show the method and the sample size with every number.
- Call something a change only when the statistics say it is.
- Include every engine on every paid plan, at a price a solo founder can pay.
