Terms of service
1. General
These terms apply to every agreement with Uneven Bits ApS (CVR no. DK30487842, Dybbølsgade 39, 2. th., 1721 København V, Denmark) about the use of sirefs, a service that monitors how AI answer engines mention, rank and cite brands, and audits how ready websites are for AI engines. By creating an account or using the service, you accept these terms. If you accept them for a company, you confirm that you may bind it.
sirefs is offered to businesses only. By creating an account you confirm that you act in the course of your trade, business or profession, not as a consumer, so consumer protection rules (such as the right of withdrawal for distance sales) don't apply.
2. The service
sirefs includes:
- Monitoring: for the prompts you choose, sirefs collects the answers of AI engines (such as ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, Gemini, Perplexity, Microsoft Copilot, Claude and Grok) at your plan's frequency, and records whether your brand and your competitors are mentioned, ranked, recommended and cited.
- Analysis and reports: visibility, share of voice, cited sources and related numbers, with sample sizes and confidence intervals, in the dashboard, by email and as exports where your plan includes them.
- The GEO audit: a check of a website's public pages for how ready they are for AI engines, with recommendations.
- The free checker on sirefs.com: a one-off GEO audit and a few prompts on a few engines, without an account.
We develop the service continuously and may change, add or remove features, engines and data sources, as long as the core of what your plan includes stays in place.
3. Accounts and workspaces
You must give accurate information when you sign up and keep your sign-in details secure. A workspace's owner and admins decide who's a member and are responsible for what members do in it.
4. Plans, trial and payment
- Plans: the plans and what each includes are described on sirefs.com/pricing. A prompt is one question in one market.
- Trial: a new workspace gets 14 days of the Starter plan without a card. If you don't subscribe before it ends, the workspace moves to the free plan.
- Billing: subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly in advance, as you choose. Yearly billing costs ten months' price. Prices are in euros or Danish kroner and exclude VAT unless stated otherwise. Payment is handled by Stripe.
- Changing plan: if you move to a smaller plan, prompts over its allowance are paused and engines outside it stop being checked. Nothing is deleted.
- Non-payment: if a payment fails and isn't settled after notice, we may move the workspace to the free plan or suspend access.
5. Data from third-party AI engines
The answers sirefs shows come from AI engines run by third parties, collected through data vendors and the engines' official APIs. We report what the engines returned; we don't control what they say, and we don't guarantee that their answers, or the sources they cite, are accurate, complete or up to date. Engines answer differently from run to run and change over time, and a vendor or an engine may become unavailable. We label the method behind every answer and show the uncertainty in every rate, but the numbers are estimates from samples, not exact counts of what every user sees.
Our own analysis of the answers (recognising brands, ranks, recommendations and sentiment) is automated, partly by a language model, and can be wrong. Suggestions of prompts, competitors and brand details are generated automatically too; review them before you rely on them.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use sirefs to break the law or anyone's rights, to overload or attack the service or the sites it reads, or to get around plan limits or the free checker's limits (for example, by automating free checks). The GEO audit and onboarding read only public pages; use them for sites you own or have a legitimate reason to assess. We may suspend access in case of misuse.
7. Your content and our use of data
You keep all rights to the content you put into sirefs (brands, competitors, prompts and brand facts). You give us the right to use it to provide the service, including sending your prompts to the AI engines and data vendors that collect the answers. We may use aggregated statistics that don't identify you, your workspace or your projects to operate and improve sirefs.
8. Liability
sirefs is provided "as is". We aim for stable operation, but we don't guarantee that the service is error-free or uninterrupted. We accept no liability for indirect losses, including lost profits, lost business or lost data, or for decisions you make based on the data. You're responsible for how you use the results.
9. Termination
You can cancel your subscription at any time in the dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and amounts already paid, including for yearly billing, aren't refunded. After that, your workspace continues on the free plan. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your data within 30 days, unless the law requires us to keep it longer. We may terminate an account with immediate effect if these terms are materially breached.
10. Data processing
When sirefs processes personal data on your behalf, you are the data controller and we are the data processor. Our data processing agreement is part of these terms and applies for as long as you use the service. Our privacy policy describes the data we process as controller.
11. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms with 30 days' notice. We announce material changes by email to the address on your account. If you keep using the service after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Danish law. Disputes that can't be settled amicably are decided by the Danish courts, with the Copenhagen District Court (Københavns Byret) as the court of first instance.
